The ZX 5000 was technically ahead of the game upon its release in the
mid ‘80s, and now adidas Originals is bringing it back, giving the
silhouette to two streetwear specialists, BAPE and UNDFTD, to design
their own version for Consortium.
The triple branded Adidas ZX 5000 features a full 360 degree
multi-layered premium suede pannaling throughout the entire mid-foot
base construction, win khaki, olive army green and Bape stylized
camouflage, while a contrasting red, white and blue leather Adidas
branding stripes completes the classic modern fashion running footwear
look.
Once again, a metallic gold Bape and Undefeated branding logos dons
each heel, while the classic Adidas Consortium logo is featured behind
the metal clip attached tongue tab.
A thick, durable and extruded style foam heal plate is equipped to
provide support and security within the back edge of the foot, build for
performance, as well as style. The Limited Edition Adidas Consortium ZX
5000 collaboration with Bape & Undefeated footwear is then resting
on a modernized designed “white” EVA mid-foam, on a khaki colored rubbe
rout-sole.
