A Flat Head/R.J.B collaboration model.
Based
on Flat Head's standard 3002 model, these jeans feature RJB's logo
embroidery and leather arcuates with overlap stitching on the back
pockets. For this model we've used a limited edition red leather for the
arcuates and a deerskin leather patch, details limited to the FXR
models. Flat Head's jeans incorporate pre-1940s dyeing techniques, the
sewing of 1940s and 50s, and vertical fading that first appeared in the
50s and is accentuated by a distinct long-fiber cotton reminiscent of
the 1960s. We combine aspects of each vintage era with a modernized
silhouette featuring a slightly lower rise than vintage jeans, and a
slim upper block. The fit is based on the 3001 model, which has a lower
rise and a slim thigh, but the 3002 is tapered from the knee to hem for a
stylish, modern silhouette.
