Prps is a New York-based luxury fresh denim brand that was established in 2002, and was founded by former Nike designer, Donwan Harrell. The brand motto is "Bruised, never broken".

There are 3 PRPS brands; PRPS Noir - Prices range from $500-$1500. PRPS - Prices range from $350-$600 PRPS Goods & Co. - Prices range from $180-$250 (all tops are under Goods & Co brand)

Prps jeans are manufactured in Japan. The denim used for the manufacture of the jeans, is organically grown in Africa. The Japanese manufacturer of the jeans uses looms from the 1960s similar to the type that were used to produce denim for Levi's. The manufacturing of Prps wares has since been moved outside of Japan, to China.

(PRPS fabricates heirloom jeans of organic Japanese or Zimbabwean cotton with a futuristic process that replicates the rugged wear of yore. Hand-made molds ensure all our whiskering is original. PRPS stitches the soul of ancestral American jeans, from when the denim work gear was new, onto modern silhouettes that bear the old stains proudly.

The PRPS NOIR Collection is not about black denim. Noir utilizes the best selvedge denim fabrics available anywhere in the world – with incredibly extensive washes and old school wear, tear & repair details that are authentic to genuine vintage jeans painstakingly collected over the years worn by real miners, mechanics, and laborers alike. Each pair of jeans is handmade and can take up to a week to produce. Noir represents the best of PRPS– true collector’s items.)

Harrell says that the manufacturing process was inspired by denim worn by workers before it became popular as an everyday fashion. The designer launched a women's range in the US in September 2008 and will be launching in Europe and Asia in January 2009.
